When my Dad was born, men had not touched foot on the moon.

When I was born, we knew of no planets outside our solar system.

When my kids were born, we knew of no Earth-sized planets around other suns (and still don't).

The progress of science due to technological advancement is amazing. I hope that with Kepler, ATA, and other projects, we will discover Earth-size planets in the habitable zones of Sol-like stars, and discover life beyond Earth before my Grandkids are born.
