Introducing Columbus Green Life

I’d like to introduce you to Columbus Green Life, a new grass-roots organization working to improve our environment today and for the future. We will be promoting sustainable and “green” initiatives through local events, our website and most importantly, word of mouth.

Our Mission Statement:

Our mission is to promote sustainability through collaboration, innovation and education to improve our environment, community and economy

This Friday, at 4pm, come out to our Green Transportation workshop. The Dublin Entrepreneurial Center has graciously offered to host our event on the 4^th floor.

We will have people from Consider Biking and Third Hand at the event to share tools and resources.

Consider Biking is an organization dedicated to promoting the bike as a mode of transportation. Jeff Stephens and Doug Morgan will be speaking for Consider Biking.

Third Hand is an organization that functions as a Bicycle Co-Op. They provide community members with the facilities and tools to help make cycling an essential part of their life.

We will also show you how to use the resources and tools COTA has provided. Their handy trip planner and bike racks make it easy to leverage our existing public transportation system to get wherever you would like to go.
