The strong first quarter was accompanied by the company’s announcement Wednesday that it is looking to fill 1,400 jobs nationwide, with 600 of those openings in Ohio. CFO Mark Thresher told Columbus Business First most of the Ohio jobs will be filled in Central Ohio, where Nationwide is the fourth-largest employer with nearly 11,400 full-time workers, according to Business First research.
