Job Description

This person will be responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of applications to satisfy the requirements of one or more user areas. This may include hands-on new development as well as support, maintenance or enhancement of existing applications. This person works closely with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes; and researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes recommendations. As an Application Designer, you will design and/or maintain the target business object model and assess the impact of future business requirements on existing and future applications architecture. You will also capture the requirements for future application architecture changes and identify the techniques and technologies that should be applied at the application level; help define the system and operational requirements that the computing infrastructure must support; and identify, analyze and address any inter-application dependencies and interfaces. You will work with the other designers to determine the most appropriate application partitioning to achieve the performance and scalability requirements.

Your Qualifications

- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

- 4-6 years experience in software development team environment (could fall into the 2-3 years range if talented)

- Expertise in the following technologies:

• Expertise in working on Enterprise level development initiatives (team projects) using:
• .NET 2.0 / 3.5 Framework
• C#, XML
• ASP.NET
• Web Services development – WCF experience
• VS2008 / VSS expertise
• SQL Server 2005 Environments
• Stored Procedure development
• Familiarity with:
• IIS 6 and above expertise is a plus,
• familiarity with SSL Certificates (Client/Server) is a plus
• Windows Services development
• MQ integration experience
