After the recent exhibition at ITMartini10, discussed in this previous article, a number of startups were identified in the Columbus area. One of those startups is EventStart.com. In fact one of the co-founders of this company, Bryce Thornton, took time out of a very hectic schedule between his 9-5 and this growing business to outline what EventStart.com is, how it began, and why starting a company in Central Ohio is a great idea. Q/A Session with Bryce Thornton of EventStart.com

Q. Explain to Reader's what EventStart.com is?

A. EventStart is an online event registration system that integrates
social media. At it's core is a system to allow attendees to register
for an event. In addition to the registration system, we pull all the
tweets, pictures and videos that people are posting right onto the
event page. We also offer a forum and blog for attendees and
organizers to keep in touch. The goal is to allow attendees to easily
see what is happening before, during and after an event.
