Startup spotlight - EventStart

EventStart is a Columbus, OH based startup working to integrate social media into event registration.  Eventstart.com allows organizers to set up events, create various ticket types, accept Paypal payments,
and keep in touch with attendees via the included blog and forum.  In addition, EventStart aggregates tagged content from Twitter, Flickr, Youtube and Picasa.  All the tweets, pictures and videos from the event are automatically pulled into the site for all to see.
EventStart provides everything an event organizer needs to host a top-notch event.

EventStart was formed at Startup Weekend Columbus in 2008.  After over a year of work, the team recently launched the site and have been working hard on many new features. They hope to one day be the definitive ticketing site for social media savvy event organizers.
