Congrats to Columbus from ITMartini

With Columbus ranked #41 in the top 50 Twitter cities in the world, is it surprising that the 2009 TechColumbus Innovation Awards featured a Tweet Pit? Last Thursday’s program brought an abundance of tweets about host Andrea Cambern of 10TV, Jeff Hogan’s roaming camera and an electric atmosphere of innovation award winners and finalists.

IT Martini covered this yearly celebration, with over 1000 in attendance including over 20 winners, finalists, and semi-finalists featured in past IT Martini Hour events. Check out the pics on Facebook!

A huge congratulations to Edheads, winner of the Innovation in Non-Profit Service Delivery Award! Edheads was a featured charity this past September at IT Martini Hour 6 where YOUR help raised $1500. Groundwork Group, finalist for Outstanding Service, was another featured charity for both IT Martini Hour 6 and 8. IT Pros in YOUR IT Community raised a combined $4500 during both events in support of the charities.

Congratulations to Brand Thunder for being a finalist for Outstanding Product. Brand Thunder was a featured Demo at IT Martini Hour 8 showcasing a way to make your browser unique. IT Martini is also proud to have Mindleaders, finalist for the Outstanding Service Innovation Award, as a Top Shelf Sponsor for IT Martini Hour 2, 3, and 4.

One last congratulations to all of the semi-finalists of the 2009 TechColumbus Innovation Awards featured at IT Martini Hour events last year: MobileWait, TasteCasting, Toobla, YourLiveTrainers, dPop, QStart Labs, DataCenter101, GRIP Technology, Total Recruiting Network, InsightETE, DataCenter 101, GRIP Technology, Fast Switch, Quick Solutions, Technology for Ohio’s Tomorrow, George Photakis from the Anchor Hocking Company, Deborah Smedley from Franklin County DJFS, and Janis Mitchell from Precise Resource.
