Fibertech Networks Earns Top Honors for Operations and Service Excellence in the ATLANTIC-ACM 2009 Business Connectivity Report Card

Fibertech awarded highest marks for brand, sales representatives, provisioning, network, customer service, and billing based on independent ratings from business customers

August 31, 2009 - Rochester, NY

For the fourth consecutive year, Fibertech Networks has received the highest operations and service excellence marks in the ATLANTIC-ACM Business Connectivity Report Card survey. The industry-wide report is based on the results of more than 3,000 individual customer ratings of carrier’s network services and the operations behind those services. It’s widely regarded as the broadest benchmarking tool in business telecommunications.

“This marks the fourth consecutive year we’ve been recognized with these high marks by our customers, and it’s a direct testament to the efforts and dedication of our employees,” said Fibertech Vice President of Sales and Marketing Mike Hurley. “As these honors cross over all of our business operations, we believe that the results once again demonstrate that our organization remains focused on providing customers with a commitment to responsiveness and support unmatched in the industry.”

At a reception at the Harvard Club of Boston on August 11, Fibertech received the number one ranking in six individual categories in ATLANTIC-ACM’s 2009 Business Connectivity Report Card among competitive telecommunications carriers, cable providers and fiber providers. The survey asks customers to rate service providers and levels on a scale of 1 to 10. Fibertech scored over 9 in each category and took first place in six different categories in the following areas:

  • Branding

  • Sales Representatives

  • Provisioning

  • Network

  • Customer Service

  • Billing

“Fibertech’s continued success in our survey reflects their commitment to overall service excellence,” said Dr. Judy Reed Smith, CEO of ATLANTIC-ACM. “In general, the leading competitive carriers receive the highest service rankings in the survey, with Fibertech earning the highest marks for network performance and several key operational categories.”
