Commercial Vehicle Group Inc. has secured a new contract with commercial truck maker Navistar Inc. that could add millions of dollars in annual sales.

The New Albany-based truck parts maker said Tuesday that it was awarded a contract to supply interior trim products to Navistar’s Heavy Truck Product Group. Production is set to begin early next year at the company’s Concord, N.C., facility and should add $4 million to $5.5 million to annual sales, the company said.

Commercial Vehicle posted $763.5 million in revenue last year. Navistar (NYSE:NAV) is among its largest customers.

The company said the products it will make for Navistar will go into its ProStar series of heavy-duty trucks. Jerry Armstrong, president of the company’s trim products division, said in a release that the company considers the competitively bid contract win “great recognition of the value inherent in our products and our engineering and research and development capabilities.”

Commercial Vehicle (NASDAQ:CVGI) in the first half of 2009 lost $41.9 million on $212 million in revenue. The company, which employs about 6,000 worldwide, lost $206.8 million on $763.5 million in revenue last year.
