JOB TITLE: APPLICATION DEVELOPER

JOB SUMMARY:

Performing backups
Applying operating system updates, and configurations changes
Installing and configuring new hardware/software
Adding/deleting/modifying user account information, resetting passwords, etc.
Answering technical queries
Security
Documenting processes
Documenting configuration of the system
Troubleshooting problems
System performance tuning
Technical Support
Database administration
Network administrator/analyst/specialist
Application Analyst
Programmer


PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Developing Database design and structure
Developing new systems using VB>NET and SQL Server
Installing and configuring new hardware/software
Maintaining user accounts
Answering technical questions
Enforcing data security
Documenting processes
Documenting configuration of the system
Troubleshooting problems
System performance turning
Technical Support
Network administrator


REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION

SQL Server
VB.net
SQL Server
SQL Reporting Services (SRS)
MS Access
Crystal Reports
Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office products (word, Excel, Access)
Specialized industry specific applications and project management

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

o 2 Years direct SQL experience
o 2 Years VB>NET programming experience
o Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office products (word, Excel, Access)


EDUCATION:
Bachelor degree or equivalent
