Agent of Change in Your Circle of Influence
Help pioneer the new green frontier and take part in a dynamic grassroots program.
WHO: Anyone seeking to initiate or accelerate sustainable practices and/or raise eco-awareness within a circle of influence
WHAT: How to Be an Agent of Change in Your Circle of Influence
This six-session interactive course covers the theory, practice, and tools needed to work for change within a circle of influence (such as a school, neighborhood, place of worship or workplace).
Each participant will develop a project in consultation with other members in the class and take steps of early implementation.
The scope of initiatives varies greatly from, for example, upgrading recycling efforts at work to transforming a local school into an ecology center. In other words, the framework works at almost any scale.
WHERE: COSI, 333 W. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio
WHEN: Five Mondays from Noon to 1:45 p.m. starting January 18 through February 15, followed by a break and final meeting on March 15

COST: $30 Simply Living member, $35 non-member, scholarships available, plus parking $3 per session.
