Introducing PolymerOhio

Technology comes in different forms. A key technology in Ohio are Polymers. I'd like to introduce the organization that advances the Polymer industry in Ohio - PolymerOhio.

PolymerOhio, Inc., an Ohio Edison Center of Technology, supports the Ohio polymer industry by enhancing the growth and global competitiveness of Ohio’s polymer, plastic, rubber, paint, sealant, adhesive, ink and advanced materials companies. It does this through the identification and fulfillment of the needs of companies and by facilitating the awareness, utilization and development of Ohio’s extensive polymer industry resources.

Ohio polymer companies include the entire value chain of production from design, materials and equipment through toolmakers and processors to OEM's. Resources available include the academic institutions, economic development resources and service providers that enable your company to continually improve and grow. It is supported by member dues and by the Ohio Department of Development.

 
PolymerOhio also provides opportunities for collaboration by hosting events that include Emerging Technology Forums (ETF), Legislative Luncheons, and Ohio Polymer Summits.  ETFs allow polymer companies to gather for discussion of emerging technologies and collaboration to grow their business.  The Legislative Luncheon, held every other year, enables polymer business leaders to meet with Ohio Legislators.  The Ohio Polymer Summit, held every other year, provides companies with a venue to meet and discuss the current state and direction of Ohio’s polymer industry.
