My tech week in review

In addition to my day job (delivering projects, hiring new talent, 2009 budgets...you get the picture) working for a great company Progressive Medical Inc.

It's been a busy week in C'bus Tech scene - here's a highlight recap

Wed 10/1 - Got a chance to listen to Ross Youngs - tout Algae Farming as a viable source for biofuel - click here for more. For those of you who didn't know Ross also is the founder and CEO of Univenture. He has been recognized as Business Person of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration and Manufacturing Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young. Did you know that between Ross and David Bianconi of Progressive Medical we have two Inc500 Hall of Fame companies in Columbus?


Wed 10/1 - Columbustech meetup group formed holds it's first gathering @ Brazenhead -http://newtech.meetup.com/136/



Thursday 10/2 - Unfortunately had to miss Glomark-Governan hosting Global CIO Value Forum 2008, an event designed to discuss best practices for measuring IT value and IT portfolio management. A who's who of speakers.
