In praise of conquering something hard - congratulations marathoners!
A little inspiration on a Monday morning.
On Sunday I went downtown to check out the marathon and perhaps run into a few friends that I knew were running. It was inspiring to see after 26.2 miles the faces of those just as they were coming down the last quarter mile. There was a incredible satisfaction of completing something that was incredibly hard. While everyone had their own reasons for running they were all tied together by the bonds of having set a goal, toiled countless hours training for it, and overcoming both real and imagined obstacles. What personal marathon are you training for?
Congrats to all that ran in the Columbus half and full marathon!! A special congrats to Kevin Gadd, Chris Anderson, Michael Bowers, and Kirk Phillips
Peace out,
Ben
